Guntur: Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that government was extending helping hand to the BCs under the Adarana Scheme to improve their standard of living.
He distributed tools under the Adarana scheme to the beneficiaries at a cost of Rs 2.11 crore at Shadikhana in Narasaraopet in Guntur district on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, he urged the beneficiaries to use tools to generate more income.
He said tools were distributed to 2688 beneficiaries in Narasaroapet Assembly constituency.
He said that Chandrababu Naidu was striving hard for the development of the state and urged the BCs to avail benefits of welfare schemes.
