All set to celebrate NY on a grand note

Vijayawada: The denizens are gearing up for the celebrations of New Year in style. The people in Vijayawada and surrounding areas are getting ready to give grand farewell to 2018 with a bang.

On the eve of the New Year, several programmes have been arranged across the city. The youth, students are gearing up preparing for the party, expecting more entertainment than before.

Hotels, restaurants, pubs, event management organisations, function halls, clubs and other places decorated with lights are attracting people, couples and families to be part of the occasion.

People have planned various events to welcome the New Year in a big way. They are inviting celebrities and arranging music bands, singers, DJs, musicians and key persons to host the events on the New Year Eve.

Time relaxation was given by the police department till 1 am to the hotels and restaurants to celebrate the New Year events. The hotels and event organisers are collecting Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000 for couples for the special events hosted at their places to welcome the New Year in a gaudy manner.

Taj Gateway Hotel made a few special arrangements for the NYE by decorating the entire lobby and reception to welcome all our guests into the festive mood when they enter the premises.

Bollywood pop singer Rohan Sequeira from Mumbai, an international female performer from Russia, well acclaimed dancers group from Kolkatta, dance floor, unlimited snacks, flow of beverages besides a lavish buffet awaiting the visitors, said the hotel manager.

Novotel is welcoming New Year with special events of dance from the Kolkata group starting from 8.30 pm to 12.30 am along with unlimited drinks and starters as part of celebrations, said the hotel manager.
