Kurnool: Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Fakkeerappa Kaginelli made an appeal to the people of Kurnool district to celebrate the new year eve in a vibrant and amicable manner. The persons who create nuisance and disrupt the peaceful atmosphere will be taken into task, he said.
In a statement released on here Sunday, the SP stated that precautionary measures have been taken to avert unavoidable incidents during the new year celebrations. Adequate police personnel have been deployed across the district besides keeping an eagle eye on the violators.
The police personnel by sitting at closed circuit in control room would monitor the celebrations from the cameras installed at all main junctions and busy areas, the SP said. He also suggested the parents to take care of their children. He said that the celebrations should not be scary, but they should be memorable.
Everyone has to abide by the rules and regulations of the police. The police would open rowdy sheet cases against those who create nuisance and violates the peaceful atmosphere. Bike races, stunts and driving the motor cycles by removing silencers would be viewed seriously.
The wine shops should not be kept open after the stipulated timing, if they violate then action would be taken as per the existing acts, stated the SP Dr Fakkeerappa Kaginelli. He also wished the people A Happy New Year.
