Visakhapatnam: The Gajuwaka police under Zone II unearthed a job racket scam and arrested two persons working at Indian army and seized a cash of Rs 1,30,000, which was collected from jobless youth and 150 original certificates of job aspirants, his personal identity card and copies of hall tickets and other online applications, fake ID cards pertaining to some job aspirants from their possession here on Monday at Kanithi Road near Gajuwaka.

Addressing media, DCP Zone-II (Law & Order) Adnan Nayeem Asmi said that the arrested were identified as B Govinda Raju, who was appointed as a soldier in Indian Army during 2000 and perverted to luxurious lifestyle and greedy of earning quick money in illegal ways. While M Ramesh of Anakapalli area who is also working as Lance Naik in Indian Army in Haryana is also addicted to bad habits and greedy of earning easy money.

They got acquaintance with each other through common friends and hatched plan to earn quick bucks and formed a network at various places. The duo had introduced themselves with the job aspirants as influenced persons having connection with various higher officials of Indian Army, Navy, Railways, Sramikamazdoor’s, MES, Coal India and other PSUs. As Govinda returned to city on December 2 on 87days leave, he alerted the job aspirants through his friends and network to meet him up at Gajuwaka.
