CPI and CPM jointly conducted a dharna here on Friday, condemning the lathicharge and high handedness of police on the activists and leaders of Left parties at New Delhi on Thursday, who slated for dharna demanding the Central government for Special Category Status SCS to Andhra Pradesh and also fulfill the demands mentioned in AP Bifurcation Act
Rajamahendravaram: CPI and CPM jointly conducted a dharna here on Friday, condemning the lathi-charge and high handedness of police on the activists and leaders of Left parties at New Delhi on Thursday, who slated for dharna demanding the Central government for Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh and also fulfill the demands mentioned in AP Bifurcation Act.
Participating in the protest programme, CPI and CPM leaders N Rama Rao, MS Narayana and T Arun said BJP government once again proved its ‘arrogant’ attitude towards Andhra Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was acting like a dictator and he was thinking that he was the only saviour of the country, they added.
BJP government cheated Andhra Pradesh relating to execution of AP Bifurcation Act. The people of Andhra Pradesh would never forget injustice meted out to the state at the hands of BJP. The people were ready to teach a lesson to BJP particularly Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ensuing Assembly and general elections.
They demanded the Central government to release CPI state secretary K Rama Krishna and CPM state secretary Madhu. They asked BJP leaders to get ready to experience the wrath of the people in Andhra Pradesh.
