Vijayawada: The Progressive Recognised Teachers Union state Sevadal convener D Srinu here on Tuesday demanded that the government come up with a solution to three major issues related to state employees and teachers.
Speaking at a meeting, Srinu demanded that the government show special interest in releasing Interim Relief (IR), DA arrears and implement teachers promotion before the election code comes into force.
PRTU state leader A Satyanarayana Reddy demanded that the government provide GPF to municipal teachers and implement promotions besides appointing deputy education officer to Vijayawada Municipal Corporation schools.
A teacher T Venkateswara Rao was felicitated on the occasion.
PRTU leaders I Venkat Reddy, A Srinivas Rao, G Venkat Rao, Annaporna Prasad, K Nehru, MV Sivanagendram and others were present.
