Amaravati: With many challenges and hopes, the State government has been preparing the Interim Budget. The Budget Session of the State Assembly for approving interim Budget will commence on January 30. The Assembly will function for nine days.
Since, the Union government is contemplating to present its Interim Budget on February 1, the State government has been planning to present its Budget in the Assembly at a later date. The Interim Budget will be presented on February 5.
The procedure for preparation of the budget is in progress in the Finance Department. Naidu’s government will introduce the budget for April, May and June months only.
In this budget, no special scheme could be introduced hence the authorities are preparing estimates for the ongoing welfare schemes and under progress development programmes apart from the salaries and office expenditure.
