Mild tremors felt in 2 mandals

Nellore: After a huge lull, villagers of Vinjamuru mandal experienced mild tremors on Monday at 3.28 pm for 3 to 4 seconds. The tectonic activity has gradually come to normalcy when compared to the situation a couple of years ago.

Freshly, mild tremors occurred in Chakalikonda, Bathinavaripalli, Katepalli, Takkellapadu, and Janardhanapuram villages. People, who observed huge sounds from the epicentre in the area came out of the houses abruptly expressing fears. Nearby villages of Bogolu mandal also witnessed minor tremors.
