Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that he will not allow the Central government to take the constitutional rights of the State government. He made these remarks reacting to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) order to National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe the case related to attack on YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam Airport recently.

Addressing at a party meeting at Undavalli on Thursday, Chandrababu Naidu said that he will continue to resist attempts by the Centre to usurp powers of the states. He said that it was politically motivated act of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jagan. “Jagan did not even give the complaint. He behaved in an irresponsible manner.

NIA took the case after Jagan asked the Central government despite knowing that there was no gravity in it. Jagan and his party men are saying that they don’t have confidence in state agency. If they believe that the state government did something wrong in dealing with the case, then they could go to court. But they went to the Central government, which is wrong. We strongly object to it. The Central government did not have any right to probe this case,” he said.
