Yamini wins World Rising Stars contest in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Yamini Patibandla, a student of Class I at Delhi Public School won the ‘World Rising Stars’ international beauty contest held at Georgia between January 8 and 13.
School principal G Mala on Tuesday said that Yamini had faced the preliminary round interview at the concert and impressed the jury members with her answers.
In the grand finale, she had to prove herself worthy in five rounds namely, Indian traditional dress round, Indian designer wear round, International designer wear round, Talent show round and Indian ball gown round.
In Talent show round, Yamini sang in praise of Lord Ganesha and recited Bhagawad Gita with effortless ease.
Participants from 40 countries between the age group of 3 and 7 years participated in the Grand Finale and Yamini clinched the ‘Grand Prix Winner of World Rising Star 2019’.
Apart from this, she was also awarded the Best Photo Model of Year 2019 and the Best Talent of Year 2019. She also received a beautiful crown and a gift voucher for 200 Euros.
The pro-vice chairman, P Narendra Babu, director K Praveen Kumar, director P Pavan Chand and others congratulated Yamini on her stupendous achievement.
