10,061 get placements at job mela
As many as 10,061 unemployed youth in the state secured jobs at a twoday mega job mela organised under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation APSSDC
Vijayawada: As many as 10,061 unemployed youth in the state secured jobs at a two-day mega job mela organised under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC).
The job mela was held on Wednesday and Thursday at 26 centres across 13 districts, according to APSSDC MD and CEO Dr Kruthika Shukla here on Friday.
She said that the unemployed who passed Class X, ITI, Diploma, B Tech, PG and between the age group of 18 and 35 years participated in the job mela and secured jobs.
She said that among the 37,671 youth who participated in the job mela, 10,061 candidates were selected in various companies like American Express, Coramandal Fertilizers, Tech Mahindra, Tata Business Support Services, Spandana Spoorthy Finance.
