Annual day celebrations held at Maris Stella
The Commissionerate of Collegiate Education Joint Director Geetanjali participated as chief guest at the 57th annual day celebrations of Maris Stella College here on Friday
Vijayawada: The Commissionerate of Collegiate Education Joint Director Geetanjali participated as chief guest at the 57th annual day celebrations of Maris Stella College here on Friday.
Addressing the gathering, the joint director said that the students have to dream high and work hard to scale great heights.
She stressed on the role of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in all the departments of the students for their overall development.
She said that the students are fortunate to be a part of Maris Stella College to learn everything for their future.
College principal Sr Jesintha Quadras presented the annual report and said that college has received an ISO 9001-2015 certificate.
The guest of honour Dr YS Sarada, Prof in English Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupathi, and an old student of the college expressed her gratitude towards the college by sharing her memories as a student and said that Maris Stella College was the best example for discipline and value-based education.
Later, the class toppers were given mementoes on the occasion. The college management, staff, students and others were present.
