Kakinada:The ongoing ‘Inspire’ science fair at AMG Public School attracted a large number of school children on the second day on Thursday.
More than 2000 school children visited the science fair on the day. Speaking on this occasion, East Godavari DEO S Abraham said that out of total exhibits, 10 would be sent to the state level competitions to be conducted shortly. He said that such science fairs were extremely useful to the students.
The DEO also said that six teachers from different schools were supervising the conduct of the five-day science fair.
District science officer Vasanta Kumar and urban DyEO Vani Kumari and others attended the science fair.
Later in the evening, school children took part in cultural activities.
