Guntur: Students under the banner of Pratyeka Hoda Sadana Samithi protested at the ANU on Friday and demanded SCS for the development of the state.
The ANU students forced the staff at Andhra Bank, State Bank of India extension counters in the university to observe bandh and protested.
Prof N Samuel said that development was possible with the SCS and demanded the Centre to grant SCS immediately for the development of the state.
He warned that if the Centre did not give SCS, they will intensify their agitation and urged the Centre to fulfill the promises mentioned in the State Bifurcation Act for the development of the Andhra Pradesh.
They raised slogans against the Centre.
