Chandrababu Naidu providing much higher pension than Narendra Modi
Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that even as the Prime Minister is giving pension of Rs 200 to 9 lakh people across the country, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is providing pension of Rs 2,0003,000 to 54 lakh population in the State
Nellore: Agriculture Minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said that even as the Prime Minister is giving pension of Rs 200 to 9 lakh people across the country, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is providing pension of Rs 2,000-3,000 to 54 lakh population in the State.
Somireddy addressed at a programme where pensions under NTR Bharosa and Pasupu Kumkuma programmes were distributed in Muthukur on Sunday.
The Minister said the State government has been focusing on welfare of the poor and farming community. He said they had reduced power tariff for aqua sector to Rs 2 per unit. He also said they were distributing support of Rs 405.30 crore under Pasupu Kumkuma in the district.
The Minister said 49,636 women in Sarvepalli constituency are getting support of Rs 49.63 crore and still registrations are being carried out
He said they had completed tendering process for Degapudi-Bandepalli canal which would become a reality soon. He also distributed pensions and Pasupu Kumkuma support at Mamidipudi in the mandal.
