Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked people to give him huge victory by working for him in the next 75 days. He distributed cheques to Dwcra women under Pasupu-Kumkuma scheme and participated in 'Pensions Sambaralu' programme at Kesarapalli village in Krishna district on Saturday. Stating that he worked hard for them for five years, he requested them to work for him in the next 75 days.

“I have done everything for you by doing hard work for the last five years. Can you extend support to me? Give your support to Chandranna with your vote in the next elections. I will give chance to good persons to contest in the elections. No chance would be given to wrong persons. I have given assurance to investors over my victory for continuation of development projects in the State. You extend your support openly to Chandranna to open the eyes of people who are making publicity with false surveys on behalf of YSR Congress.

They want to collect money by creating confusion with the support of wrong surveys,” he said. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also said that he provided more social security to pension holders, old-age people and Dwcra women by enhancing pension amount from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000. He said that he had taken the responsibility of old-age people and women as their elder son.Reacting on the Centre’s budget towards cash sops to farmers, he said that the Centre announced a meagre amount of Rs 6,000 that would be given in one year.

He said that the State government waived loans to the tune of Rs 1.50 lakh to each farmer. The next installment of loan waiver would be released soon, he said. He asked the people as to who is the best whether the Centre or the State. The Centre was trying to harass the TDP leaders by foisting false cases for questioning them, he said and added that the YSR Congress and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had colluded with the BJP. If the people cast their vote to YSR Congress, it is equal to axing the branch of a tree by sitting on it, he warned. "I didn't undertake Padayatra taking two days break every week but honestly organised Padayatra for people," Naidu said.

The YSR Congress opposed the Pattiseema Project. The farmers should think about their fate if Pattiseema did not exist, he said.He pointed out that he implemented several welfare schemes despite the State facing revenue deficit. He also said that the people would get all services with a phone call in near future. Ministers Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, K Ravindra, MLA V Vamsi, MP Konakalla Narayana, ZP Chairperson Gadde Anuradha and several leaders were also present.
