Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna has said that BJP state leaders are criticising Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for fighting for Special Category Status instead of supporting him in the interests of the state.

It seems that the BJP state leaders have no love for Telugu gadda, he said.
Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Thursday, he said former Prime Minister Deva Gowda praised for the braveness of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and expressed his solidarity to the protest programme along with the leaders of various parties.

Many parties in the country are now discussing about Dharma Porata Deeksha conducted by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is facing Prime Minister Narendra Modi boldly to safeguard the interests of the state.

The agitation against Central government particularly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi is spreading across the state and many are opposing BJP government, he added.

Modi also spent government money for conducting Sadbhavana Deeksha for three days as Chief Minister of Gujarat state. There is no wrong in spending government money for Dharma Porata Deeksha for the benefit of the people.

He advised BJP leaders to support state government which is fighting for Special Category Status.

Otherwise the people cannot excuse them.

The YSRCP which had earlier stated to fight for Special Category Status to the state along with TDP, if the TDP comes out of NDA coalition, is now mum in this regard.

The people will teach a fitting lesson to BJP and YSRCP in the ensuing elections that are cheating the people, he added.
