Vijayawada: Director General of Police RP Thakur granted permission to the Pratyeka Hoda Bharosa Yatra to be organised by the Congress party from February 19 to March 3. Manifesto Committee chairman and former MP Kanumuri Bapiraju, AICC secretary Gidugu Rudraraju, APCC general secretary SN Raja met the DGP on Friday submitting the route map and the schedule.

The DGP approved the plan and issued instructions to the police officials to that effect. The 13-day yatra would start at Anantapur and culminate at Srikakulam. AICC president Rahul Gandhi, the chief ministers of various states, former Union and state ministers, would participate in the yatra which cover 25 Lok Sabha constituencies and 64 Assembly constituencies in the State.
