Visakhapatnam: The focus of almost everyone in the city on Sunday leads towards the India vs Australia cricket match played at Dr YSR ACA- VCDA stadium in the city.

The spectators had a visual feast at first T20 International match played between India and Australia. They enjoyed watching their favourite players Virat Kohli, M S Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and all other Indian cricketers playing in front of them, including their Australian counterparts, who were also known to Indians, thanks to the IPL.

Vendors from across the country flew to the city to sell flags, hats, T-shirts and other merchandise. Like the part time bowlers getting wickets on their day, it was the only time when these 'part-time' vendors make some money, when there are matches played in the country, especially in the cities which were near to their hometown. Biswas Kumar, a farmer from a far-off village in Uttar Pradesh, said, "This is the only time, when we get to make some money, while we struggle all the year on the field for which we don't get reasonable price."

Bijay Das, a small time merchant from Kolkata said that almost all the vendors were from West Bengal, who find this as an opportunity to earn money which will be useful for them to provide some decent education to their children.
