Intensify surveillance on interstate border villages
Anantapur Range DIG Kanthi Rana Tata has instructed SPs and DSPs to intensify surveillance on the border villages of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka The DIG chaired a highlevel meeting here on Friday with SPs of Nellore, Chittoor and Thiruvallur Tamil Nadu districts and Tirupati Urban
Tirupati: Anantapur Range DIG Kanthi Rana Tata has instructed SPs and DSPs to intensify surveillance on the border villages of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The DIG chaired a high-level meeting here on Friday with SPs of Nellore, Chittoor and Thiruvallur (Tamil Nadu) districts and Tirupati Urban.
In the meeting, Kanthi Rana Tata has instructed the DSPs to be on alert round-the-clock in their respective divisions. He informed SPs and DSPs to focus on problematic villages in view of upcoming elections and asked DSPs to visit those villages every day till the completion of elections.
Thiruvallur SP Ponni, Tirupati Urban SP KKN Anburajan, Nellore SP Aishwarya Rastogi, Chittoor SP Vikrant Patil and DSPs took part in the election security meeting.
