Supply quality power to consumers

Visakhapatnam: Principal Secretary (Energy) Ajay Jain instructed the APEPDCL officials to supply uninterrupted and quality power to its consumers during the summer and ensure nine hours free power supply to all agricultural services without any interruption. He said though APEPDCL has achieved 100 per cent electrification, some agency villages were electrified with solar power under DDG scheme.

Ajay Jain conducted a review meeting here on Thursday with all the key functionaries of APEDCL. Speaking on the occasion, he said now, it is necessary to connect the solar related services to the Grid wherein it is necessary.

He instructed to clear all pending agricultural connections immediately and directed to replace ordinary cement poles with spun poles on coastal areas. He also asked to complete the underground cable works without any delays.

K Rajabapaiah, Chairman and Managing Director, APEPDCL, Directors B Seshu Kumar, T V S Chandrasekhar and all senior officials were present.
