Vijayawada: Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao inaugurated Qobotic Hub at Gollapudi here on Friday.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Umamaheswara Rao said that ‘Qobotic Hub’ is a start-up and is providing about 50 job opportunities to the IT professionals.
In a year it would provide about 200 jobs. He said that Qobotic Hub develops mobile applications for smart phones like the iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry.
As part of industrial growth, it is another milestone for Amaravati IT sector. He said that the government is supporting IT in a large scale by providing facility in start-up towers /villages.
IT is growing day by day in Andhra Pradesh, he claimed. Ritish Venkat, director of Qobotic Hub also spoke.
