Ford India’s next big game changer the Figo Aspire made its appearance in the city on Saturday. The event was held to give customers a first-hand experience of the stylish compact sedan ahead of its introduction later this year. The Figo Aspire was showcased at Inorbit Mall as part of a 10-week long roadshow in 25 cities across India.

The roadshows are a part of Ford India’s recently announced experiential consumer campaign – What Drives You – that aims to discover the values and aspirations driving modern India. Led by actor, singer and director Farhan Akhtar, the campaign is meant to serve as a platform for scores of young and enterprising Indians to move a step closer to their aspirations and will culminate with one-lucky winner becoming the first customer to drive home a brand-new Ford Figo Aspire.
The new Figo Aspire has set a new standard for compact cars in India with a sub-four-meter sedan combining premium design, class-leading safety features and advanced technologies. The car is designed to turn heads with an elegant, striking design that sets it apart from competitors. The sophisticated exterior of the Figo Aspire is complemented by a modern interior that delivers an extraordinary experience for a compact car.
First-in-class technological features like an innovative device dock demonstrate Ford’s understanding of the growing importance of technology in customers’ lives. The dock allows the driver to store, mount and charge mobile phones, MP3 players and satellite navigation systems, and to integrate these devices into the car’s entertainment system.
Figo Aspire is also equipped with SYNC with AppLink, Ford’s advanced in-car connectivity system that allows drivers to control their phone, entertainment and apps hands-free using simple voice commands – helping them to stay connected while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
Reflecting the importance of safety to consumers in the compact segment, the new Figo Aspire also offers a number of safety features. For the first time in a compact car in India, the Figo Aspire also offers side and curtain airbags for an extra level of protection.
The engines 1.5L TDCi diesel engine and the 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine claims to offer a compelling mix of performance, refinement and fuel efficiency. Customers will get another chance to catch the Figo Aspire in Hyderabad on July 4-5 at GVK One Mall.
