To celebrate the 200,000 sales figure figure milestone for the Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition variant of its popular MPV in India. Called the Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition, it is based on the Vxi/Vdi trims, and offer a hosts of added features for its occupants.


Exterior embellishments are limited to new decals on the side, a rear spoiler and a vinyl wrapped, blacked out D-pillar. But inside, the Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition offers after-market add-ons that are specifically appointed for the long haul. These include new seat covers, steering wheel cover, a hands free Bluetooth kit, a cool/warm box between the second row captain seats, a high-speed multi-charger, pillows, door sill guards, designer mats and reverse parking sensors. But the best feature has to be the handy, digital tyre inflater.


The Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition will be offered in only two colours – Superior White and Silky Silver. Maruti hasn’t revealed the pricing details of the car, but expect it to be around INR 25-35,000 dearer than the VXi/Vdi variants. The Paseo Explore edition comes days before the Suzuki Ertiga facelift, which will debut in Indonesia at the GIIAS (Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show) on August 20. An Indian launch is expected soon thereafter.
