New Ford Figo hatchback to be launched on September 23

After launching the Figo Aspire sub-compact sedan in the country in august, 2015, the carmaker is all set to launch the Ford Figo hatchback on September 23. In terms of design, the new Figo hatchback will get a honeycomb grille, the signature Ford front-end, and head-lights with different mirror element.

That said, the overall design remains unchanged from the concept. As far the new Ford Figo hatchback's engine options are concerned, it might continue to be powered by the 1.5-litre TDCI diesel and the 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol. Furthermore, the Figo hatchback will share its interior with the Figo Aspire sedan.

It will get features like all-black interior, silver accents on the steering, center console, and door armrests. Just like the Aspire, the Figo hatch will also feature a 4.2-inch SYNC multimedia infotainment system. Other provisions could include electrically-adjustable ORVMs, 6 airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), reverse parking sensors, etc.
