3M introduces printed car wraps priced from Rs 4,500 onwards

3M has launched a collection of car wraps called “Roof Tera Mastana” for the roof, bonnet and boot, priced from Rs 4,500 onwards. The first set of 25 car wraps will have a choice of stripes, dual tones and prints across a wide range of premium finishes like matt, gloss, satin, brushed and carbon.

Apart from the visual enhancement, 3M claims these wraps are extremely functional in nature and come with a superior dual layered cast film for protection. This removable film is designed with a pressure activated adhesive which allows it to slide and reposition itself until firm pressure is applied.

The wraps can even be applied on complex curved surfaces like a rear view mirror. 3M mentioned that the film's unique, non-visible air release channels help installers achieve fast, easy, and virtually bubble-free installations. The wraps are digitally printed with a UV protective layer and are claimed to provide complete protection to the original OEM paint.

Currently, 3M has 65 stores spread across 18 cities in India and these car wraps are available at select 3M centres where they can be installed within three to seven days.
