Nissan will be bringing a host of cars to this year’s Auto Expo including the GT-R and special-edition models of its existing car line-up. The Nissan GT-R is one of the fastest sportscars in the world.

Known in the automotive community as Godzilla, the two-door sports car is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6 engine developing 542bhp and 63.53kgm of torque with power channelled to all four wheels.

A halo model for Nissan, the GT-R is expected to soon make its way to India with the automaker planning to launch the high-performance car sometime this year.

The Nissan booth will also feature an interactive zone for cricket fans as part of Nissan’s celebration for the forthcoming ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2016.

As part of the celebrations, two ICC World Twenty20 special editions of the Terrano SUV and Micra hatchback will be showcased. Also present will be a second special edition of the Terrano and a sportier variant of the Sunny sedan.

The carmaker will also be showcasing its development in the field of autonomous technology with EPORO robots. The robots are designed to travel in a group mimicking the behaviour of a school of fish in case of a possible collision and avoiding the obstacle without colliding with each other.

In addition, a number of contests will be held at the Nissan pavilion with participants getting the opportunity to walk away with prizes and exclusive privileges.
