After unveiling the Honda CX-01 Concept at the previous Auto Expo, Honda has now unveiled the CX-02 Concept at 2016 Auto Expo.

Delhi: After unveiling the Honda CX-01 Concept at the previous Auto Expo, Honda has now unveiled the CX-02 Concept at 2016 Auto Expo.

Displayed along with their new Navi scooter, Honda CX-02 concept is so named with CX indicating Concept Cross and 02 depicting a second design model by Honda Research & Development India Pvt. Ltd. (HRID).

As was seen in the case of Honda CX-01 concept, the new Honda CX-02 concept has also been developed exclusively by Honda R&D Team at Technical center, Manesar. Introduced with special design and list of features that will immediately appeal to urban Indian youth, the Honda CX-02 concept is powered by an inline, twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine.

Features include LED headlamps for both low and high beam along with two LED DRLs and an LED tail lamp. Honda CX-02 concept also gets a slim visor, hand guards with turn indicators and black coated multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inverted fork, disc brakes with Nissin calipers, ABS, engine guard, split seats, and aluminum rear subframe are its additional features.

A fully digital instrument console with the multi-color display, switch traction control system, and twin port exhaust canisters are also seen on board the Honda CX-02 concept. The alloy wheels are fitted with Avon Distanzia 120/70-R17 and 160/60-R17 dual purpose tyres.

Yet in concept format, Honda hopes to move the concept into production while it exudes looks, style, and aggression to take on any competition.
