BMW 3 Series features price in India Auto Expo 2016
BMW India has officially launched the new BMW 3-Series in India at prices ranging from INR 35,90,000 to INR 44,50,000. Launched in India ahead of the 2016 Auto Expo, the new BMW 3-Series facelift is the smallest luxury sedan in the company line-up on offer in the country. Being offered only with diesel engine option, the petrol variant will be making its way into markets in India at a later stage.
Delhi: BMW India has officially launched the new BMW 3-Series in India at prices ranging from INR 35,90,000 to INR 44,50,000. Launched in India ahead of the 2016 Auto Expo, the new BMW 3-Series facelift is the smallest luxury sedan in the company line-up on offer in the country. Being offered only with diesel engine option, the petrol variant will be making its way into markets in India at a later stage.
BMW 3-Series facelift gets some external and internal updates which marginally differentiates it from the old 3 Series. Front get full LED headlamp clusters, LED daytime running lights while rear gets new LED tail lamps. Interiors retain their overall layout but are seen in new materials with a host of chrome accents and high gloss surfaces besides ambient lighting.
Interiors of the BMW 3-Series facelift boast of a new head-up Display Unit, navigation module with 3D graphics, chrome accents and AC vents. Park Assistant feature allows the 3-Series to parallel park automatically while it also gets a new Navigation System Professional with integrated GPS along with an 8.8 inch high resolution display unit being offered on the Sports Line, Luxury Line and M Sport variants.
Infotainment is in the form of BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW Apps and Radio Professional. Bluetooth, USB connectivity and driving modes of ECO PRO, Comfort, Sport and Sport+ are seen along with Auto Start/Stop, and Brake Energy Regeneration which help in better fuel efficiency on board the new BMW 3-Series facelift.
Where engine specifications are concerned, the new BMW 3-Series facelift only receives a single diesel engine in the form of a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine offering 190 hp power and 400 Nm torque between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm mated to an 8 speed ZF automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 7.2 seconds while top speed stands at 230 kmph.
BMW 3-Series with M package will be exclusively offered in an Estoril Blue metallic colour.
