Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is powered by a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder intercooled turbocharged diesel engine. This engine offers 134 bhp power at 3,600 rpm and 320 Nm torque at 1,800 to 2,800 rpm mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. Built on a heavy duty chassis with its body structure made of high tensile steel, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup will be available in 4X4 configuration.

Being produced as a part of the company’s ‘Make in India’ initiative, the new pickup enters the Adventure Utility Vehicle segment that besides instilling a sense of adventure with a rugged and durable offroading stance, also pays special attention to on-board driver and passenger comforts.

Interiors receive power windows, power-steering and centralized door locking system. High ground clearance and long wheelbase gives the UV a solid control over difficult terrains. Addition to this, the chassis frame is designed with new iGRIP feature – Isuzu Gravity Response Intelligent Platform thus offering enhanced stability even at higher speeds and around sharp curves.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup is currently being displayed at the 2016 Auto Expo. It heads for production to the Isuzu Motor India plant at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh from April 2016.
