Delhi: The Mahindra Mojo adventure tourer and scrambler concepts at the 2016 Auto Expo are being accompanied by three examples of the sports tourer in cool new color themes – Matte Red, Orange, White-Orange. Based on the feedback from the public, these colors would be added to the existing color palette which includes White, Black and White-Red.
All the three color options complement the motorcycle’s styling but we particularly are fond of the Matte Red treatment. This particular motorcycle was also kitted up with various accessories like red handlebar end weights, wheel hub-mounted protector, red accents on the brake master cylinder, engine components, and handlebar clamp.
The glossy Orange color option too looks surprisingly nice on the Mojo. The White-Orange dual-tone theme follows the same pattern as the existing White-Red theme.
Mahindra Mojo which was launched in October last year is currently available only in four cities – Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi. Once the company ramps up production, there would be a phase-wise expansion of the market for their flagship product.
The motorcycle is powered by a 300 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine dishes out 27 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
The company is currently working on an ABS variant of the Mahindra Mojo. Decision on producing the adventure tourer and scrambler derivatives will be taken based on the public interest.
