Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 Battle Green color introduced at 2016 Auto Expo
The Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 Battle Green limited edition model has been showcased at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo. Like the Battle Green edition of the FZ-S, we can expect Yamaha to sell its 150 cc commuter for a limited period at a slight premium.
Delhi: The Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 Battle Green limited edition model has been showcased at the ongoing 2016 Auto Expo. Like the Battle Green edition of the FZ-S, we can expect Yamaha to sell its 150 cc commuter for a limited period at a slight premium.
The motorcycle receives matte black fuel tank and tailpiece with olive green accents and yellow decals. The green color can be found on the headlamp cowl and front fender as well. The cycle parts are finished in black while the alloy wheels get intermittent yellow rim tapes.
There are no mechanical changes whatsoever. The Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 is powered by the 149 cc air-cooled engine that is borrowed from the FZ V2.0 but makes do without the electronic fuel injection system. The BlueCore motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox to generate 12.1 PS at 7,500 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The bike is suspended by conventional front telescopic fork and rear twin shock absorbers. The front wheel is retarded by a disc while the rear gets drum brake.
We expect the Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 Battle Green to go on sale shortly after the expo. The Yamaha stall also housed the new MT-09, N-Max premium scooter and Fascino special edition.
