Ford Mustang is expected to be priced in the range of INR 65-70 lakh once launched later this year.New Ford Mustang has made its debut at the 2016 Auto Expo. Latest gen Ford Mustang is the first Mustang to be offered in RHD format, aiming to penetrate newer markets.

To be launched in India later this year as a CBU, new Mustang is lighter and faster than ever before. In India, the Ford Mustang will offered with a single engine option to include a 5.0 liter V8 engine offering 435 bhp power and 524 Nm torque. The engine will be mated to a 6 speed SelectShift automatic gearbox. Also, India will only get the hard top coupe variant of Mustang, and not the open top.

External features will include 18” Magnetic Gloss paint or machined aluminium wheels, HID headlamps, puddle lamps and Mustang logo along with LED tri-bar tail lamps and dual exhaust pipes.

Interiors receive a 2.8” touchscreen, ambient lighting and four driving modes. It gets bucket sport seats, leather covered steering wheel and tilt/telescopic steering column while rear view mirror gets auto dimmer feature. Intelligent Access with push/button start, adaptive cruise control, SYNC3, BLIS with cross-traffic alert form its other features.

Price of the sixth generation Ford Mustang which goes on sale in India in Q2 2016, are expected to range between INR 65-70 lakh.
