VW Phideon revealed in official images

Exclusive for the Chinese market, Volkswagen Phideon has been revealed in images for the first time.With a launch scheduled in the Chinese market in 2016, the all-new premium saloon brings together elegance with maximum dynamic performance, design and innovative technology.

VW Phideon goes into production in China in Q3 2016. Volkswagen Phideon sporty saloon looks to rehaul Volkswagen’s premium car design language. Developed in Germany, the four-door sedan will play the role of a sports saloon as well as a chauffeur-driven limousine.

China-bound Volkswagen Phideon exterior design speaks in smooth transitions and clear lines with a forward-leaning front, and sharp shoulder line. The rear ends in a characteristic sloping roof. Standing at a length of over 5 metres, the C model sports a powerful radiator grille, chrome elements and ambient exterior lighting. Ambient exterior lighting is a new feature that makes a debut with the VW Phideon.

Interior luxury is accentuated via a rear passenger compartment with a lounge feel. Volkswagen has integrated ground-breaking technology in the cockpit. Newly developed Active Info Display gives a virtual 3D look and, chauffeur mode lets a passenger send information to the infotainment system.
