Tata Tiago is manufactured alongside Nano GenX at Tata Sanand plant.Tata Motors finally launched their new small hatchback called Tata Tiago. First showcased back in November 2015, the compact hatchback will rival Maruti Suzuki Celerio, WagonR, Hyundai i10 and the likes.

Based on the company’s re-engineered XO platform, Tata Tiago shares its underpinnings with the Tata Indica while it comes in with a new and stylish design language and best in class features.

Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2 liter three cylinder Revotron petrol engine offering 85 PS power and 114 Nm torque. It also gets a 1.05 liter three cylinder Revotorq diesel engine capable of 70 PS power and 140 Nm torque. Both engines are mated to 5 speed manual transmission. Petrol engine delivers a claimed mileage of 23.84 kmpl while the diesel claims class leading 27.28 kmpl.

Where onboard features are concerned, the new Tata Tiago receives height adjustable driver seat, electric adjustable wing mirrors and steering mounted controls. Safety features include ABS and dual air bags while infotainment is in the form of ConnectNext developed by Harman, an 8 speaker audio system and USB with AUX in support.
