The British luxury marque’s first ever SUV will be primarily targeting existing Bentley customers. It has no direct rivals until the Rolls Royce Cullinan enters the scene.

The uber-luxury SUV is powered by the familiar 6-litre W12 twin-turbo petrol engine which produces a colossal 608 PS and 900 Nm of torque. All that potential is transferred to wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission and an advanced all-wheel drive system. With a top-speed of 301 kmph, the Bentayga is the only production SUV to have breached the 300 kmph mark.

The SUV features a boxy exterior design which was redesigned after the original EXP-9F concept received widespread negative feedback. The Bentayga is full of quintessential Bentley design elements like a handcrafted front grille, quad-headlamps, a massive nose and muscular rear haunches.

The opulent interior is appointed with handcrafted leather, wooden veneer, floating digital instrument console, exquisitely detailed metallic elements, diamond quilted seats with 22-way adjustment, rear entertainment package and so on. Like other Bentleys, the customers can personalize their cars to a great extent.

The Bentley Bentayga is estimated to be priced close to INR 4 crore (ex-showroom) before you start ticking off the option boxes.
