Based on new generation Honda Jazz, which was launched in India last year, Honda Brazil is prepping a crossover variant. Expected to be called Honda WR-V upon launch, this new Jazz Cross has now been rendered digitally.

The render is based on spy shots of Jazz Cross which have been clicked over the last few months while it was on test on roads in Brazil. Somehow, the render’s design closely resembles to that of recently launched BR-V crossover in India.

Front of Honda Jazz Cross will be much more sporty looking as compared to current Jazz. This could be done by inserting new aggressive bumper design and larger air dams. The render also features projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a feature which is not on offer on board regular Jazz in India.

Also seen is plastic cladding surrounding the lower part of the entire body and wheel arches. This gives Honda Jazz Cross an SUVish stance. It also has sunroof and roof rails for added crossover looks. Front and rear bumper also get silver skid plates.

Not much changes are expected on its inside. Though Honda could add more colour options, to make the car attractive for the new generation of young buyers. Dimensions too are largely going to remain same as that of existing Jazz, except for ground clearance, which will be raised for obvious reasons.

Speaking about engine options, they too are expected to remain same as the current options. In Brazil, Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.5 liter iVTEC petrol mill generating 115 hp and 149 Nm via CVT gearbox.
