Showcased first at the Auto Expo 2014 and 2016, the new Mahindra e-Verito electric sedan is now confirmed for launch in India on June 2, 2016.Similar in design to the existing Mahindra Verito sedan, e-Verito is a full electric sedan, very much like the e2o. The zero emission, green vehicle comes in powered by 3-phase AC induction electric drive train from Mahindra Reva.

eVerito’s engine offers 41 hp peak power at 3,500rpm and 91 Nm torque at 3,000rpm. It is mated to an automatic transmission. Top speed stands at 86 kmph while the new Mahindra eVerito can travel upto 100 kms on a single charge.
Exteriors sport no visible changes as compared to the Verito sedan except for an e-Verito badge. The e-Verito sports a chrome front grille, fog lamps and black honeycomb air dam while it sits on distinctive alloy wheels.
Dual colored ORVMs, black stripes on roof and door and a sporty looking rear profile are slated to be seen on the upcoming model. Interiors sport a completely digital instrument cluster while space remains the same as that seen on a regular Mahindra Verito.
Being an electric vehicle, Mahindra e-Verito electric sedan will take advantage of Faster Adoption & manufacturing of Electric Vehicles Scheme (FAME). Base price could be at INR 6.5 lakhs going upto INR 8.5 lakhs for the top end model. More details tomorrow, when the car is officially launched.
