Ducati 959 Panigale Now Available In India For Rs. 14.37 lakhs

The Ducati 959 Panigale made a grand debut in India, at Goa, in the 2016 India Bike Week, which interested motorcycle enthusiasts to eagerly await its launch. The wait is over! Italian super-bike is now available in India. 959 Panigale is priced at Rs. 14.37 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The Ducati 959 Panigale is inspired from the designs of the Ducati 1299 Panigale, while also getting a new split-section tailpiece, new billet-machined aluminium footrests, new rear view mirrors and refreshed air intakes.

The liquid cooled 955 cc L-twin Superquadro cylinder engine meets Euro 4 emission regulation standards, while producing an output of 157 BHP at 10500 rpm and a torque of 107.4 Nm at 9000 rpm. The engine is mated with a 6-speed DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) gearbox.

The tyres used are the Pirelli’s Diablo Rosso Corsa, whose profiles are 120/70 front and 180/60 rear, with 3.5 inch wide black 10-spoke wheels at the front and 5.5 inch wide black 10-spoke wheels at the rear, mounted with a 43mm Show Big Piston Fork, at the front, and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock with progressive linkage, at the rear.

Touted to offer riders a practical riding experience, in a performance-oriented motorcycle, some practical equipment-level features available with the Ducati 959 Panigale are the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) from Bosch, eight-level Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Engine Brake Control (EBC), the three pre-programmed riding modes (Race, Sport and Wet) and the Full-LCD Instrument cluster. The electronic quick shift enables faster and smoother gear changing.
