Nissan cuts Micra XL CVT price by 54K

Nissan Micra XL CVT is priced from INR 5.99 lakh while XV CVT is priced from 6.73 lakh.First launched in 2010 in India, Micra is the best selling Nissan car in the country. Offered in two engine options (one petrol and one diesel) and 9 trims, Micra sales average at about 700 units a month.

Today, Nissan India announced that the price of their Micra CVT variants, has been slashed by up to INR 54,000. Priced from INR 5.99 lakh, ex-showroom, this makes new Micra CVT the most affordable CVT car in its segment. The reason in slashing price because the company has increased localization levels.

This new Nissan Micra CVT variant is aimed at first time buyers in urban India, who are looking to upgrade to an affordable automatic small car which will help them ease their commuting through traffic jams. Nissan India would also be hoping to get added sales with the launch of new Micra CVT variant.

Powered by a 1.2 liter petrol 3 cylinder engine, which generates 75 bhp @ 6000 RPM and 104 Nm @ 4000 RPM. It claims to deliver a mileage of 19.34 kmpl.

Features on offer and design remains same as before. Some of the features on offer with the CVT XV variant include driver / co-driver airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, engine immobilizer, central lock, auto AC, keyless entry, start/stop, etc.
