Spotted Hyundai Creta 1st anniversary edition ahead of launch

The crossover was launched in India last July.The Hyundai Creta 1st Anniversary Edition has been spotted ahead of its launch in the coming days. It’s been almost a year since the compact crossover took the Indian car market by storm.

Right from the day 1, the Creta has been racking up orders to become one of the most successful car launches in the recent times.The car went on sale in the third week of July last year, so we can expect the special edition to be launched this month. Visual enhancements include blacked out roof and pillar, red-grey decals on the lower part of the body and on the C-pillars, black finished 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and “1st Anniversary Edition” sticker on the C-pillars.

Interiors are not revealed as of now but we can expect new seat covers, branded floor mats, illuminated door sills, and a few additional features. The special edition is expected to be available across all the engine options.The Hyundai Creta is powered by a 123 PS 1.6-litre petrol engine, a 90 PS 1.4-litre diesel engine and a 128 PS 1.6-litre diesel engine. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard across the range but the petrol motor and the range-topping oil burner can also be specified with 6-speed automatic transmission.

The Hyundai Creta 1st Anniversary Edition would be sold in limited numbers. More details will be available at the time of launch.
