The reason behind not launching the Honda CBR250RR in India is its high price tag, which could be in the region of INR 4 lakh or so.

Set to rival the likes of Yamaha R3, KTM RC390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300, Honda CBR250RR will enter production in Indonesia next month. The new Honda quarter liter motorcycle sports an aggressive styling. It receives upside down telescopic front forks, petal disc brakes, and dual channel ABS. It also gets gets advanced features such as LED headlamps and tail lamps besides a fully digital instrument panel and state of the art ride-by-wire technology.

Honda CBR250RR will be powered by a 250cc, liquid cooled, twin cylinder, 4 stroke petrol engine mated to a 6 speed gearbox. This engin eis expected to deliver power in the range of 37-40 PS.

Production is set to commence from August 2016, wich Asian markets to receive the Honda CBR250RR first (except India). Launch in Europe and America is pegged for later date this year, probably after it is showcased at the 2016 EICMA.
