According to a Team-bhp forum member, the Hyundai Creta’s price will be increased by INR 15,000 from September 2016. Hyundai India usually announces a price hike across its model range in the third quarter of the year to offset rising input costs.

As of now, the highly successful crossover which is celebrating its first year anniversary is priced from INR 9.17 lakhs to INR 14.51 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). From its launch in last July to May 2016, Hyundai India has managed to sell 78,857 units of the Creta. The sales continue to be strong.

Hyundai launched a 1st Anniversary Edition will additional features and cosmetic enhancements to keep the buzz alive. In addition to it, the automaker also responded to customer feedback by introducing a petrol automatic variant and a more affordable S+ diesel automatic variant.

The Creta is powered by a 1.4- and 1.6-litre diesel engines in addition to a 1.6-litre petrol engine. Standard transmission option is a 6-speed manual unit but the petrol and range-topping diesel can also be specified with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
