Bajaj Avenger Street range gets new colours

Bajaj has launched new colour schemes for its Avenger Street range of cruisers. The new colour for Avenger Street 150 is cosmic red and the matte wild green is for Avenger Street 220.

All the three bike models (Street 150, Street 220 and Cruise 220 bikes) was launched with only one colour option at the end of previous year. It’s actually a norm for this Pune based manufacturer to launch its bikes with only one or two colour variants. The reason behind is the more the paint schemes will be the more will be logistical hitches.

Apart from the problems of supply chain management, launching more than 2 colours at a time will actually lead to the increase in manufacturing cost. The introduction of new colours also depends on customers review and demand which leads them to add few more to its existing range of bikes. With the coming season, these colours are definitely going to create a new sensation for bike lovers and finally the sale will go up.

The new matte green Avenger 220 Street will be available at a price of Rs 85,497 (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Avenger 150 Street will cost the customer Rs 75,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). Interestingly, Bajaj is not charging even a single penny extra for new paint schemes.
