It is the smallest motorcycle in the BMW Motorrad lineup today, and is set to go on sale in the country in the coming weeks. Booking orders are now open in Indonesia. BMW Motorrad, besides showcasing the G310R is also presenting 13 other models at Indonesia Auto Show.

BMW G310R receives a bold and dynamic design and sits on a short wheelbase contributing to added stability and agility. It gets a one cylinder liquid cooled 313cc engine generating 34 PS power at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm.

In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 1988mm in length, 896mm in width, 1227mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1374mm. It receives 300mm disc brakes in the front and 240mm disk brakes at the rear while it gets front upside down forks and mono shock suspension at the rear. It also gets dual channel ABS

BMW G310R is being developed jointly by BMW Motorrad and TVS Motor Company and has already entered production at the TVS Motors company plant in Hosur, Bengaluru. Pricing in the UK will start from £4,290 (INR 3.88 lakh), while in India, thanks to heavy localization levels, price could start in the INR 1.8 lakh range. It will rival KTM Duke 390, Mahindra Mojo 300 upon launch.
