Maruti special edition Deca targets young audience

Maruti has released a teaser video for a special edition of the Swift which is expected to be called as Deca. The video doesn’t reveal the car but talks about the significance of no. 10 in the world of football and shows a key fob with “Deca” keychain.

It’s to be noted that the automaker showcased a special edition Swift hatchback at the Auto Expo 2016 sporting the number 10. This special edition is most likely to adopt the Deca nameplate when it goes on sale in shortly.

Going by the show car, the Maruti Swift Deca edition is expected to sport black alloy wheels, white racing stripes on the bonnet, boot, roof, and rear doors, spoiler, and white finished wing mirror housings. The interior of the show car was equipped with touchscreen infotainment system and black part leather seats with red accents.

The current gen Swift is nearing its lifecycle and hence sales started showing signs of slowing down. The special edition would be aimed at creating a buzz in this festive season. The additional accessories would be offered at a discounted price.

The Maruti Swift Deca would be targeting young audience. It is expected to be available in both petrol and diesel avatars and is likely to be based on the top-end ZXi and ZDi trims.
