The Maruti Swift Deca edition which was teased through a serious of short videos has been launched at INR 5.94 lakhs for the VXi petrol variant and INR 6.86 lakhs for the VDi diesel variant (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The car was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016 in Delhi minus the Deca nameplate.

The Swift Deca special edition pays homage to the number 10 and highlights its significance when it comes to jerseys of iconic footballers. The car features quite a few visual enhancements that would appeal to young audience.

The hatchback is equipped with body kits all around, black wheel covers, number 10 decals on the front doors, white racing stripes on the bonnet, roof, hatch and rear doors, roof-mounted rear spoiler, and white finished wing mirror covers. The special edition is available in Special Red and Pearl White exterior color options.

Inside, the Swift Deca is kitted with faux carbon fibre accents on the centre console, a touchscreen infotainment system from Sony with door-mounted speakers, dual-tone red-black seat fabric and steering wheel cover, new floor mats, red lighting on the front foot wells, reverse parking assist with rear view camera, and front arm rest.

The B-Segment hatchback stays untouched under the skin. The 1.2-litre K12B petrol motor and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel motor constitute the engine lineup. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard across the range.
