Electric vehicles are the new weapons to face the pollution but the E-vehicle companies were constantly failing in producing reliable and aesthetic E-bike products. They have been facing many problems to produce bikes with a fair design, efficiency, and economy that sustains in Indian conditions.
Volta Motors has studied every such failure happening in the industry and designed the India’s first crossover Electric bike Volta ZAP. The product has been designed and developed completely in India, boldly representing the Make in India policy.VOLTA motors take a big step towards the futuristic developments in e-vehicles by fusing an innovative design strategy with an advanced technology to overcome the vehicular pollution issues in India.Designed by a bunch of enthusiastic designers and engineers, Volta ZAP has a stylish look with the capabilities to face the hectic Indian road and climatic conditions.
Volta ZAP offers a 60 km range for a single charge without pedaling. The regenerative charging gives an extended range for the user.Zap’s operating cost is around 7 paise per kilometre, which is more economical when compared with existing two-wheelers. The battery of Volta Zap weighs just 3kgs which will be the lightest battery for an E-bike till date with these specifications.Volta Motors uses an advanced lithium technology battery which can also be used as a power bank for charging mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc... on the go.The Pedal assist feature helps the user to pedal the bike with an ease as it gives 3 full cycle wheel rotation for every single pedal rotation made.
A purpose-built box frame, first of its kind in India, allows you to quickly insert and remove the battery in and out comfortably which gives a piece of mind for people living in the urban areas. The suspension forks, powerful hub motors, and digital displays give a comfortable and pleasant ride for the users.
Integrated facilities for smartphones with customizable body panels and a wide range of colour choices makes the product even more attractive. Since there is no license and registration process involved, the product reduces unnecessary customer strains for transferring the product all over India.The LED reflectors placed on the bike makes it safer to ride during nights.
Volta ZAP ticks the user’s check boxes like economy, safety, reliability with a compelling design. VOLTA ZAP’s design had been unfolded at Bangalore White Orchid Convention Centre on 5th August 2016 and have offered free test rides.
