Showcased in concept format at EICMA last year, the new Honda X-Adv adventure crossover scooter is set to enter production. It boasts of a sense of adventure while performance, practicality and comfort.

X-Adv is ideally suited for urban commuting. On-board features include a long swingarm, USD forks, wired wheels and ABS along with heated grips, high fenders and long travel suspension to manage challenging road conditions.

High riding position for better visibility, under seat storage space and 5 position adjustable screens for varying degrees of wind protection are also set to be seen on the new Honda X-Adv adventure moto-scooter.

While no mechanical details are yet divulged, Honda X-Adv could be based on the Honda NC750X and Integra. If that is the case, it would then receive a 750cc parallel twin engine offering 54 hp power and 68 Nm torque with a DCT automatic transmission.

The teaser video (below), confirms that the the final production model looks similar to the Concept that was showcased at the last year’s EICMA show (images below). Honda X-Adv will first be launched in Europe and North America. It is highly unlikely that the Honda X-Adv will be launched in India, though it is to be remembered that Honda India is launching the African Twin with DCT automatic gearbox next year.
