Global NCAP crash tested two variants. The first variant was without airbags. It scored a zero star, but did show structural rigidity. At the request of Honda Car India, Global NCAP crash tested a variant with dual front airbags. This time the car scored 3 stars out of a maximum of five. This shows how important a role airbags play in safety.

Honda Mobilio MPV measures 4.4 meters in length resulting in added cabin and boot space. It is offered with both diesel and petrol engine options in the form of a 1.5 liter diesel and 1.5 liter petrol engine mated to five speed manual gearbox. The petrol engine is capable of 119 PS peak power while the diesel engine will offer 100 PS power output. Honda Mobilio diesel engine claims mileage of 24.2 kmpl while its petrol counterpart delivers a mileage of 17.9 Kmpl.

Honda Mobilio shares its platform with the Brio hatchback and Amaze sedan. Its while interiors are same as that of Brio hatch, dual tone black and beige colour scheme. This sharing of parts with Brio and Amaze has allowed the company to price the Mobilio aggressively.
